He is independent and playful as well as cuddly and sweet which will suit his role supporting a young man with post-traumatic stress disorder. He will sleep on the bed with his new owner and comfort him after nightmares. He will be very active accompanying him as he takes long walks or runs on the beach or through native bush, providing him with life-long companionship.

Gabriel will also support his person in times of stress and fear by distracting him with cuddles or bringing him a toy for a game of fetch to take his mind off the situation.
